Stardust: An Immersive Live Music Experience Sells Out Vegas Planetarium Ahead of Version 3.0 Debut
LAS VEGAS, NV - A few short weeks ago, my planetarium show, Stardust: An Immersive Live Music Experience, closed out the summer season at the Dale Etheridge Planetarium in North Las Vegas, Nevada. Not only did we close out the summer, but I am thrilled to report that we officially sold out! It takes a village of people onstage, backstage, behind the scenes, and behind the loop station to make this happen, and I am deeply grateful for every single one of them.
This performance marked a few important firsts and lasts that I wanted to share:
The Final Run of Version 2.0: This was the last public showing of Stardust (Version 2.0)—the version that toured through Tacoma, Maryland, Cleveland, Las Vegas, and most recently, Nashville. But this isn't sad news! Stardust (Version 3.0) will be debuting next month back at the Etheridge Planetarium. This updated show features a completely overhauled pre-show, brand-new performance footage, and a fully revamped middle movement. I finally understand why George Lucas kept tinkering with Star Wars decades later—the drive to refine the experience and transport an audience never really stops.
Flightsuit Debut in Vegas: The August 20 show marked the first time I wore my new custom flightsuit for a Las Vegas performance. The team at Gibson & Barnes built a fligthsuit for me that is about as authentic as it gets, arriving just in time for my Nashville residency in July. Big thanks as well to the team at Closet Monkey in Henderson, Nevada, for sewing on all my mission patches—because I am worse than a back-alley surgeon with a needle and thread!
What's Next? Version 3.0 debuts right here in Las Vegas in October, packed with updated visuals and reimagined musical moments. Immediately following that, I’m hitting the road in November for our next tour run, so stay tuned for the official routing announcement!
